Venues

This year’s festival features four principal venues in Napier,Hastings and Havelock North, including a Spiegeltent on the Havelock North Village Green. 

Events and exhibitions are also being held at Arts Inc.Heretaunga (Hastings Community Arts Centre), Hastings City Art Gallery, Community Arts Napier, SPA_CE, Parlour Projects, Clubs Hastings, RSA Napier and the Hastings Central City Mall.

General Admission; General admission tickets at the Spiegeltent are unallocated. Doors to the Spiegeltent will open 15 minutes prior to each performance.

Premier ticketing; for an additional $10 per ticket, Premier ticket holders will be admitted to the Spiegeltent 30 minutes prior to each performnce starting, in order to choose their preferred seats. Please ensure you arrive on time. 

The Festival Garden; This year we are proud to launch a new attraction, the Festival Garden. The Festival Garden will be open one hour before each performance for guests to enjoy great food, drink, coffee and chocolate. 

Vagabond Jacks Food Truck; Chef Kerry Mackay will serve up a rotating array of food from around the globe, served from a classic 1962 retro style 'air stream' caravan. 

Handmade Bar; Slake your thirst at The Handmade Bar, with locally-produced Ngatarawa wines, handmade cocktails plus low and non-alcoholic options. 

Hawthorne Coffee Roasters; Havelock North's favourite coffee roaster, Hawthorne, will be on site serving up their world-famous espresso throughout the festival.

The Century Theatre, built in 1977 as a concert chamber to commemorate Napier’s first century as a city, is the setting for the museum's performing arts, film and talks programme.

The Theatre bar opens one hour before every show and sells a range of confectionery, alcohol and non-alcohol beverages.

Municipal Theatre

Municipal Theatre

The Napier Municipal Theatre combines elegant art deco style with modern theatre facilities, making it one of the best provincial performing arts centre in New Zealand. A true Hawke’s Bay theatre, our stage has been graced with international acts and local performers alike.

The theatre has a seating capacity of 993. The stunning auditorium is available for hire for everything from stage productions to corporate launches.

Designed by Stevens Lawson Architects and built by Mackersey Construction, the Blyth Performing Arts Centre, honours Miss Blyth’s legacy and is built in honour of her parents, and contains a 400 seat auditorium with outstanding concert acoustics.
