Performances for the 2017 Harcourts Hawke’s Bay Arts Festival will be held across the following five main venues.
The Spiegeltent - Havelock North Village Green, Te Mata Road, Havelock North
The Blyth Performing Arts Centre - Iona College, 42 Lucknow Road, Havelock North
Arts Inc Heretaunga - 106 Russell Street South, Hastings
Century Theatre, MTG - 1 Tennyson Street, Napier
Waiapu Anglican Cathedral - 28 Browning Street, Napier
The Pacific Crystal Palace Spiegeltent
Havelock North Village Green, 35 Te Mata Road, Festival site access from Te Mata Road, or Napier Road.
General Admission; General admission tickets at the Spiegeltent are unallocated. Doors to the Spiegeltent will open 15 minutes prior to each performance.
Premier ticketing; for an additional $10 per ticket, Premier ticket holders will be able to choose seats in a dedicated Premier Seating area (our selection of the finest seats in the tent), complete with a cushion for your comfort.
Note: Please note that Premier tickets do not correspond to an individual seat number, so if you arrive right before the show, your choice of seats will be limited to the seats remaining in the Premier area.
The Century Theatre, built in 1977 as a concert chamber to commemorate Napier’s first century as a city, is the setting for the museum's performing arts, film and talks programme.
The Theatre bar opens one hour before every show and sells a range of confectionery, alcohol and non-alcohol beverages.
The Blyth Performing Arts Centre
Designed by Stevens Lawson Architects and built by Mackersey Construction, the Blyth Performing Arts Centre, honours Miss Blyth’s legacy and is built in honour of her parents, and contains a 400 seat auditorium with outstanding concert acoustics.
