Be part of the most spectacular arts and culture event in Hawke’s Bay!

The Patron and Benefactor Programme is your opportunity to show your support for the arts in Hawke’s Bay.

The inaugural Festival was an overwhelming success, with more than 9000 tickets sold and rave reviews from audiences and critics. The 13-day Festival featured 49 world-class performances from 29 different acts across a variety of genres, including music, dance, cabaret, comedy, circus and a readers and writers programme.

As a festival team, we are ambitious and we want to build on our success. We want to make the Festival more accessible to more people, by offering multiple venues, a greater diversity of shows and a more comprehensive education programme.

For 2016, a magnificent spiegeltent will once again feature as the Festival ‘hub’ in Havelock North. Additional venues, including the Century and Municipal Theatres in Napier and the Blyth Performing Arts Centre will make this a truly Hawke’s Bay-wide event.

We were delighted with the level of audience engagement in 2015 and want to continue to develop programmes that challenge, excite and inspire a wide range of audiences.

To make all of these things happen, we will rely on the generosity of Patrons and Benefactors as well as sponsors, trusts and foundations, to deliver the level of cultural engagement we aspire to for the Festival.

As Patron or Benefactor for the 2016 Festival, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including regular newsletters, invitations to exclusive events and opportunities to get closer to the performers and artists. All gifts over $250 will be acknowledged online and in the printed Festival programme, if you sign by 30 June 2016.

The Patron Programme has been specifically designed for individuals and families, and the donation is tax deductible.

Double ($500) or Single ($275) are available. As a Patron of the 2016 Harcourts Hawke’s Bay Arts Festival, you will:

 

  • Receive an invitation to a pre-launch event of the 2016 Festival programme
  • Enjoy a priority booking period for ticket purchases before the public launch
  • Be acknowledged on the Festival website, social media, in the programme and on the acknowledgement board during the Harcourts Hawke’s Bay Arts Festival
  • Receive regular newsletters updating you on the Festival progress

The Benefactor Programme provides the opportunity for individuals and businesses to contribute. This donation of $2,000 (+GST if applicable) entitles you to all of the above plus the following special features:

  • Six complimentary tickets to performances of your choosing (limit of 2 tickets per show)
  • A dedicated personalised booking service with the option of preferred reserve seating at any of our venues
  • The opportunity for exclusive ‘meet and greet’ and backstage opportunities with Festival performers*

The Benefactor Platinum Programme is our top tier donation level of $5000 (+GST if applicable).  This level of donation enables us to bring the more expensive national and international work to be a part of our Festival offering. Our Platinum Benefactors will receive: 

  • Sixteen complimentary tickets to the shows of your choice (limit of four per show)
  • The opportunity to host guests after the show*
  • The opportunity to ‘meet and greet’ the artists*
  • A dedicated, personalised booking service with the option of preferred reserve seating at any of our venues
  • Invitation to the pre-launch event of the 2016 Festival programme
  • Be acknowledged on the Festival website, social media, in the programme and on the acknowledgement board at each venue during the Harcourts Hawke’s Bay Arts Festival  
  • Receive regular newsletters updating you on the Festival progress
