Support Your Festival - Become a Festival Patron

As we all emerge from a tremendously difficult few years, we believe our arts and culture sector will play a vital role in reinvigorating social connection and community well-being. The Hawke’s Bay Arts Festival is more important than ever to helping drive this communal re-emergence.

The Hawke’s Bay Arts Festival has ambitious plans for the future. Join us on the journey as a Patron.

The following levels of support are available:

  • Pounamu Patron - $10,000+
  • Platinum Patron - $5,000+
  • Gold Patron - $2,500+
  • Silver Patron - $1,000+
  • Bronze Patron - $500+

Why become a Patron?

In the current climate what we do know, without doubt, is that your support as a Patron is more vital than it has ever been. We need outlets for social connectivity to begin to rebuild community wellbeing, our arts and culture sector in this region and the Harcourts Hawke’s Bay Arts Festival will play a vital role in that re-emergence.

When you become a donor you will be the first to hear about our programme, will have access to a priority ticket booking period,  a personalised booking service and you will receive a donation tax receipt.  You will also be acknowledged on our website, in our Festival Programme and on signage at the Festival site.  Our Festival Director will also meet with you personally following the Festival, to share what the Festival has achieved and ask you for feedback on your Festival experience. You'll also have the special feeling of knowing that you're contributing to the development of a vibrant arts scene in our region and a stronger, more connected community.

Formed in 2015, our Patrons are a group of generous donors who are committed to supporting the Arts in Hawke’s Bay. They recognise the Festival as a cornerstone of the creative ecosystem in our region and understand that ticket sales only cover a portion of the Festival budget.

Festival Patrons provide crucial support, enabling us to deliver a programme that reflects the unique qualities of Hawke’s Bay and celebrates visual and performing arts and artists from across Aotearoa, as well as bringing international productions to our local stages.  We are also committed to removing barriers for all members of our community to attend Festival experiences and Patron donations also support affordable ticket prices and tailored packages for youth and families on low incomes.
