The Harcourts Hawke’s Bay Arts Festival has ambitious plans for the future. Join us on the journey as a Patron

The following levels of support are available: 

  • Pounamu Patron - $10,000+
  • Platinum Patron - $5,000+
  • Gold Patron - $2,500+
  • Silver Patron - $1,000+
  • Bronze Patron - $500+ 

For Gold Patrons and Above:

Preferred seating reserved at all Festival venues
A dedicated personalised booking service
Invitation to selected behind the scenes events
Artist Meet and Greet during the Festival (subject to availability) 

At the Pounamu $10,000 level or above, you have the option to direct your funds to a specific area or project you feel passionate about.

For all Patrons you will receive: 

Receive two invitations to the programme launch
Enjoy a priority booking period for ticket purchases
Be acknowledged on the Festival website, in the programme and on the sponsor board
Receive two invitations to Festival functions
Receive regular newsletters updating you on the Festival progress
Priority notification and booking to off-year touring performances

This donation is for the year up to 31 December 2021

Why become a Patron?

In the current climate what we do know, without doubt, is that your support as a Patron is more vital than it has ever been. We need outlets for social connectivity to begin to rebuild community wellbeing, our arts and culture sector in this region and the Harcourts Hawke’s Bay Arts Festival will play a vital role in that re-emergence.

When you become a donor you will be the first to hear about our programme, will have access to a priority ticket booking period,  a personalised booking service and you will receive a donation tax receipt.  You will also be acknowledged on our website, in our Festival Programme and on signage at the Festival site.  Our Festival Director will also meet with you personally following the Festival, to share what the Festival has achieved and ask you for feedback on your Festival experience. You'll also have the special feeling of knowing that you're contributing to the development of a vibrant arts scene in our region and a stronger, more connected community.

Formed in 2015, our Patron group is made up of a community of dynamic philanthropists who are committed to supporting the Arts in Hawke’s Bay and who recognise the Festival as a cornerstone of the creative ecosystem in our region.  Our Patrons understand intrinsically, that ticket sales only cover a portion of the Festival budget and support from private individuals is an essential component in delivering our exciting plans.

 The Festival team and our Patrons share the belief that the arts have the power to be transformative.  We all benefit from unlocking the collective creative potential: from personal wellbeing to societal development and economic health. 

 Our ambition for 2021 is to secure support of $100,000 from our Patrons.  Your support will help us deliver a programme, which reflects the unique qualities of our region; celebrates the best and most diverse visual and performing arts and artists from across Aotearoa; and perhaps features some international acts again.  We are also committed to removing barriers for all members of our community to attend high-quality Festival experiences and Patron contributions also support affordable ticket prices and tailored packages for youth and families on low incomes.
