Nicola Kāwana

Nicola Kāwana(Ngāruahine, Ngāti Ruanui, Ngāti Kahungungu o Wairarapa) was born and raised in Taranaki. She trained as an actor with the Taranaki Youth Theatre before studying at and graduating from Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School. Nicola has worked extensively in theatre, film and television including roles in Silo Theatre's White Rabbit Red Rabbit, Auckland Theatre Company's Under the Mountain and Rendered, films Fresh Meat and Pumanawa: The Gift, TV series Shortland Street, Mercy Peak and Jackson’s Wharf and many more.
